Recife, June 2014. Jonata de Araujo, 15, is one of the young activists remain camped at ‘Pier Estelita’ during the World Cup games. The movement ‘Occupy Estelita’ took over the area since May 21st as a means to fight a real state project known as ‘New Recife’, which plans to construct a dozen of luxury apartment towers in the historical area of the city. The movement was violently dispersed by the police on June 17th.
