ZUM/IMS Photography Grant

The ZUM / IMS Photography Grant is a continuing program to promote production in the field of photography. Every year, through an open and free call, two unpublished projects of artists and photographers are selected to develop and deepen their work in the field of photography, in the most diverse aspects, without restriction of theme, profile or support.

The projects are evaluated by a committee made up of curators from Instituto Moreira Salles and an external guest, with recognized work in the photographic area. Brazilian or foreigners residing in Brazil may participate for at least one year.

Each grant has a value of R$ 65,000, and the selected ones have eight months to deliver the final results of the projects, which are incorporated into the Moreira Salles Institute’s Contemporary Photography Collection.
